RISIS Methods in Action “Developing Quantitative Models for the Evaluation of Performance: Challenges and tools available”

RISIS Methods in Action “Developing Quantitative Models for the Evaluation of Performance: Challenges and tools available” was organized by Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering Antonio Ruberti, Sapienza University of Rome, and took place on online platform on  2 and 3 November 2023.

The course:

  • Introduce a general framework for developing quantitative models for the evaluation of performance
  • Present the main challenges to face to develop quantitative models of performance
  • Offer an on-line Laboratory on two softwares open source useful to develop models:  Protégé,  Eddy.

RISIS Methods in Action (MiA) series is meant to provide practical examples of how methodological problems in data analysis could be addressed in specific instances of scholarly research. To this aim, it will be generally based on an example of a scholarly published paper. Participants will be asked to replicate the study and discuss possible alternatives and limitations of the adopted approach.
