The contribution of RISIS in supporting scientific freedom and societal challenges is growing up along with the outputs of the project, and its  large community of more than 1.200 among researchers and policymakers. RISIS aims to facilitate transnational access to research infrastructure, pursue infrastructure innovation and sustainability thanks to 15 Datasets and 2 Organisation Registers (Orgreg and Firmreg) to study the dynamics of knowledge. ESID and EFIL , the newest in the Datasets family, have been built to help researchers’ community in exploring new analyses and dimension. RISIS ESID European Social Innovation Database is a comprehensive and authoritative source of information on social innovation projects and actors in Europe and beyond. The main goal: to collect information about social innovation projects and actors, using machine learning and natural language processing techniques. EFIL – European dataset of public R&D funding instruments aims at enabling users to investigate public R&D funding in Europe at the level of project funding instruments and Research Funding Organizations (RFO), addressing questions related to policy design and policy implementation.

The EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF) was founded in 2004 by EuroScience, the non-profit organization of researchers in Europe. It is a biennial meeting designed to offer the scientific community a platform for interdisciplinary and intersectional debate about scientific culture, scientific research and innovation, for and with society.
